The Beach celebrated its inauguration in December 2007 at Hat Yao. Hat Yao means long beach and it stretches 13 km within the district of Nua Klong in Krabi Province. Krabi is located on the shores of the Andaman Sea on the west coast of Thailand. The province's most notable feature are the solitary limestone hills, both on the land and in the sea and on the surrounding islands. Of approximately 130 islands within Krabi, the Phi Phi Islands are the most famous due to the James Bond Movie “The Man with the Golden Gun” starring Sean Connery. Hat Yao is a long and yet unspoiled beach, located just 25 minutes from Krabi's international airport.
The general area is underdeveloped and peaceful with the only communities being local fishermen's villages. Our resort is located on virgin beachfront land covering 1.5 acres or 4 Rai in Thai measurement. There are altogether 14 private bungalows and three beach villas, each surrounded with its own terrace, garden and even a private pool in our beach villas. The owner was inspired by the famous movie starring Leonardo di Caprio and the simplicity of its name “The Beach'.
